As the Administrative Director, Mr. Hades Lau works with his team to implement the board’s resolved policies, oversees daily operations, and manages project teams.

 

Hades is a passionate undergraduate in psychology at The Education University of Hong Kong, embodying the spirit of service and community engagement. His work and volunteer experience include psychological research, support, psychoeducation, media content creation, and administration.

 

Hades' experience at Mensa Hong Kong before joining the board involved managing admission tests, welcoming and guiding visiting Mensa members from around the world, managing social media content, and supporting event organization.

 

Outside of Mensa, Hades is deeply involved in broader community efforts, especially in mental health. As a volunteer at Heartline Hong Kong, he provides emotional support to people in need. Additionally, through his extensive volunteer work and internships with various non-governmental organizations, he gained insights into inclusion and social services and developed essential soft skills.

 

Since joining the board, he has been working with other members to implement organizational changes and improve operations.
