As the Administrative Director, Mr. Hades Lau executes the board’s resolved policies, oversees the daily operational affairs, and manage the operations team and project teams.

Hades is a passionate psychology undergraduate at The Education University of Hong Kong, embodying the spirit of service and community engagement. His work and volunteer experiences encompass psychological research, support, psychoeducation, media content production, and administration.

 

Hades' experience in Mensa Hong Kong before joining the board included managing admission tests, welcoming and guiding visiting Mensa members from around the world, administering social media content, and supporting event organizing.​

Beyond Mensa, Hades is deeply involved in broader community work, especially in Mental Health. As a volunteer at Heartline Hong Kong, he provides emotional support to individuals in need. Moreover, through his internships in non-governmental organizations, he also gained insights into inclusion, social service, and gained essential soft skills.

After joining the board, he has been collaborating with other board members to implement various organizational changes, facilitating the operation of the organization.​ ​
