PRIOR
EVIDENCE

The submitted IQ assessment report must be conducted before your 14th birthday. Otherwise, please consider taking our admission test.

Please carefully read the terms and conditions below before submitting the prior evidence. Thank you for your cooperation.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

  1. Processing fee: HK$400. 

  2. Please allow a processing time of 4 to 6 weeks.

  3. To be qualified for membership, applicants must have an IQ in the top 2% (i.e. at or above the 98th percentile) of the population in a recognized intelligence test.

  4. Please ensure that you furnish all the required information in the specified format as detailed above, as failure to do so may result in a delay in processing your application.

PRIOR EVIDENCE (REPORT)

For admission of members below 14 years of age, we require the results from "Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children" (WISC), edition IV (HK) or V (US/UK), depending on the year when the test was taken, showing the following information:

  • the IQ score;

  • the name and signature of the psychologist who administered the test*;

  • the institution where s/he was registered with; and

  • the date of the test

    • The administrator should be a qualified psychologist who is registered with either (1) Hong Kong Psychological Society (HKPS); (2) Hong Kong Institute of Clinical Psychologists Limited (HKICP); OR (3) Hong Kong Association of Educational Psychologists (HKAEP)

We require that the test results documentation must be in a non-alterable format (i.e. in one pdf document, not separate photo images).

The test taker's name on the documentation must match the name on the application. If it is different for some reason, documentation must be included.

Mensa Hong Kong reserves the right to update the rules without prior notice. Any changes will take effect immediately upon posting on this website. Mensa Hong Kong reserves the right to the final interpretation of the terms and conditions.

Submitting the prior evidence indicates your agreement to all the terms and conditions.
