INTRODUCTION
As the Chairman of Mensa Hong Kong, Sylvia leads the society and serves as its primary spokesperson, representing Mensa HK both locally and internationally.
Sylvia is a barrister, mediator, and Greater Bay Area lawyer based in Hong Kong. She has worked in the IT and investment banking field before being called to the Hong Kong Bar in 2005.
Beyond her professional practice, Sylvia is also involved in public service, serving on various tribunals and boards. She is also a director of the Executive Committee of Customs YES, as well as Honorary President of Sau Mau Ping Junior Police Call and Kwun Tong Senior Police Call, reflecting her commitment to public service.
Sylvia’s leadership in Mensa Hong Kong began in 2022 as Vice-Chairman. In 2023, Mensa International appointed her as International Ombudsman, which she served from 2023 to 2024, underscoring her global perspective and dedication to upholding ethical standards.
