TERMS & CONDITIONS
Please carefully review the following guidelines before submitting an application using prior psychological evaluation evidence. Failure to provide all required information in the specified format may result in processing delays or rejection of your application.
1. Eligibility and Processing
-
Qualification Standard: To qualify for Mensa membership, applicants must provide evidence of an IQ score in the top 2% of the general population (i.e., at or above the 98th percentile) on a recognized, standardized intelligence test.
-
Processing Fee: HKD 600
-
Processing Time: Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for our team to review and process your application.
-
2. Test Requirements (Applicants Under 14 Years of Age)
For the admission of candidates below 14 years of age, Mensa Hong Kong strictly requires an official report from the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC).
-
Depending on the year the assessment was administered, the acceptable editions are WISC-IV (HK) or WISC-V (US/UK).
3. Required Report Details
The submitted WISC evaluation report must clearly display the following information:
-
Test Scores: The Full Scale IQ (FSIQ) score and all individual subtest scores.
-
Administrator Details: The printed name and physical signature of the psychologist who administered the test.
-
Institutional Affiliation: The institution or clinic where the administering psychologist is registered or practices.
-
Test Date: The exact date the assessment was administered.
4. Psychologist Qualifications
The assessment must be administered by a qualified clinical or educational psychologist. The administrator must be registered (or fully eligible to register) with at least one of the following recognized bodies:

-
No Passwords: Please do not password-protect the PDF file. Encrypted or locked files disrupt the administrative process and will delay your application.
-
Name Verification: The test taker's name on the submitted report must exactly match the name on the application form. If there is any discrepancy (e.g., due to a legal name change), official supporting documentation explaining the difference must be included in your submission.
6. General Provisions
